Quarantining got you down? Do you miss seeing those show-stopping finale numbers in musicals? Us too. Do you miss performing those adrenaline-running awesome musical dances? Well, look no further!

Dana Grossman recently graduated with a BFA degree in Musical Theatre and is a working professional in the musical theatre industry. In addition to giving private dance lessons, she also has been choreographing / teaching ensemble dance for musical productions for years.
Dana’s month-long dance combo workshop introduces a fundamental skill all musical theatre artists need to be well versed in: Picking up choreography. Students will focus on picking up dance moves fast and efficiently, as well as storytelling through their character, all while dancing full out!

Is this a technique class? Nope! Will you learn technique anyway? Of course! Dana will help improve your skills of learning choreography, and the correct dance terminology to go along with it, through high-energy songs from shows. Has your student done a show at DRMT this past year with Miss. Dana? Then they’ve already gotten a taste of what’s to come!

Each class will consist of an appropriate physical warm-up, followed by teaching new choreography to broadway musical dance numbers. Students will learn 2-3 sections of different dances depending on how fast the class moves!
